T.J. Zane is a versatile professional with a diverse background as a nonprofit executive, small business owner, REALTOR©, and elected official. Since 1998, Zane and his wife have successfully operated their own business solutions consulting firm, providing operational management, political and public affairs, targeted communications, event production, and access facilitation services to a wide range of for-profit, nonprofit, and not-for-profit organizations. In addition to his consulting work, Zane founded the San Diego County Prosperity Foundation in 2013, a 501c3 nonprofit organization that provides fiscal sponsorship for select charitable endeavors. He continues to lead the foundation to this day. Zane's commitment to public service led him to be elected twice (2014 and 2018) to the Poway Unified School District's Board of Trustees, where he served as Board President in 2018 and 2022. Drawing upon his experience with Poway Unified, Zane is also a REALTOR© specializing in the highly sought-after housing market within the award-winning school district. Beyond his professional endeavors, Zane has been an active community volunteer for decades, and currently serves on the Executive Committee of the San Diego-Imperial Council – Boy Scouts of America as VP for Membership. An Eagle Scout himself, Zane hails from Connecticut and graduated University of Pennsylvania. He and his wife have three children – two boys, ages 21 and 12, and a 10-year-old girl. In his free time, Zane enjoys grilling/smoking meat, craft beer, and camping.
